The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries is an interfaith service that provides food and fellowship to those in need and educates our community on hunger and poverty.
The Middlesex United Way has generously provided a $7,500 grant to Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries to purchase food for distribution to local families in need through our Old Saybrook, Westbrook and Clinton Pantries. Many households along the shoreline in Middlesex County experience food insecurity as they struggle with the rising costs of groceries, fuel, housing, and utilities. This funding for our food pantries reflects the MUW's continued focus on supporting basic needs that are critically needed in Middlesex County.
