The Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries will serve a Christmas meal on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 - 1:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 336 Main Street, Old Saybrook.

Christmas Pumpkin Pie

It takes a team effort to make the Christmas meal a success. Here are positions we need to fill:

Saturday, December 22 - 6 - 8 people to pre-cook meal items.

Tuesday, December 25 - 5 people to warm food and prepare it to be served; 1 or 2 people to supervise the dining area set-up; 1 or 2 people to organize the serving area; 1 or 2 people to handle donations and gifts; 2 or 3 people to supervise clean-up.

If you would like to be a part of this Christmas holiday experience, you can attend orientation on December 11, at Grace Episcopal Church, 336 Main Street, Old Saybrook. Start time is 5:30 p.m. for mandatory community service volunteers and 6:30 p.m. for all others.
